Due to the current epidemiological situation caused by the COVID-19 Pandemic, within the scope of the power to issue recommendations regarding people, namely the possibility of identifying close contacts of anybody with COVID-19 who traveled by air, as well as questioning travelers about their destination, itinerary and how they can be contacted by phone and email address, the National Health Authority determined, on June 19, 2020, the obligation to complete Passenger Locator Card – “PLC” form for travelers on all international commercial flights to Mainland Portugal.
